Barbara Kerne is a painter and printmaker. She studied with Ad Reinhart and Jimmy Ernst
at Brooklyn College and with Sidney Gross at the University of Maryland and is Professor
of Art Emerita at Montgomery College.Kerne has exhibited throughout the DC region and
across the United States, as well as in Cairo, Egypt, and Saigon, Vietnam. Her work is in
collections in DC, Maryland, Florida, Oregon, and Tennessee.
